From that brief we write what the 3-week version includes, what it leaves out, and which assumptions the price depends on. That note is the scope.
From brief to a staged estimate
If the brief shows a heavy integration or a second role the idea cannot live without, that work is estimated on its own and the timeline moves with it. The starting price stays attached to the narrow version.
The first staged estimate usually comes back within two business days. Development starts after the scope, milestones, and ownership terms are agreed.
